We are seeking to hire a professional Software Developer to build desktop windows software using Visual Basic.

You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and
provide user support. In this role, a successful software developer should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. He/she shall be a team player and an excellent communicator. A passionate software design/architecture, and/or programming in all is needed and invited to have meeting. His/ her goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.
Software Developer Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
• Write clean, scalable code using VB.
• Write technical documentation.
• Test and deploy applications and systems.
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
• Improve existing software.
• Develop documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
  Software Developer Skills and Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Application Developer using VB or any other programming language.
• Proficiency in ADO, TSQL, and Database design is preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Attention to detail.
• Degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or similar is a plus.

Nice to have:

• Experience with other programming languages such as C# and NET.
• Experience with Agile software development life cycle methodology.
• Understanding of JSON and REST APIs.
