We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a large-scale IT and digital transformation initiative in Prague. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT project delivery, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution of project objectives in complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects or delivery workstreams in agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Define and maintain project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource plans.
• Coordinate project teams consisting of analysts, architects, developers, testers, business representatives, and external suppliers.
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and customer representatives.
• Prepare project documentation, governance materials, status reports, steering committee presentations, and management updates.
• Ensure compliance with project governance standards and delivery methodologies.
• Support escalation management and resolution of delivery blockers.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and governance materials.
• Manage project budgets, cost estimates, financial tracking, and benefit realization activities.
• Support ICT procurement and supplier management activities, including cooperation with vendors and contract-related discussions.
• Coordinate project planning, implementation activities, testing phases, releases, and project rollouts.
• Track project budgets, timelines, and delivery commitments.
• Drive successful project delivery while maintaining stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in IT Project Management.
• Proven experience managing enterprise IT projects in banking, insurance, utilities, telecom, public sector, or similar environments.
• Demonstrable experience as Project Manager on at least one large customer-facing enterprise system, large integration-focused enterprise project, or large agile software development project within the last 5 years.
• Experience managing project scope, risks, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Experience managing project budgets, financial planning, and project reporting.
• Experience working with external suppliers and vendor management.
• Experience preparing project documentation and governance materials.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to provide a verifiable project reference including customer, project details, period, role, and customer reference contact.
• Native Czech or Slovak language skills, or another clearly demonstrable professional Czech/Slovak communication level.
