Description

Established in 2013, Sapphire Utility Solutions has quickly become the partner of choice for many clients across the UK in our chosen markets.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Planning and Permitting Coordinator based in Leyland to support on our United Utilities Contract. 

Working Hours & Location

·       Salary: £26,000-£28,000 per annum (depending on experience)

·       Hours: 40 hours per week (1 day per week WFH)

·       Location: Leyland

·       Holidays: 24 days + bank holidays.

As a Planning and Permitting Coordinator for our United Utilities contract, you will administer all Streetworks permits and notices in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) and New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA).

Your role will involve:

  • Manage the coordination of streetworks throughout the area.
  • Operate the Street Works Register for the planning of works and events being organised on the highway.
  • Working closely with our Scheduling teams to enable operational delivery
  • Working closely with Program Manager
  • Speaking with internal stakeholders 
  • Booking in jobs on the Big Change system
  • Data entry
  • Dealing with queries
  • General administration duties

About you

·       Strong Attention to detail / Accuracy

·       Previous experience working with Permits and notices is advantageous but not required

·       Computer literate

·       Able to demonstrate a flexible approach
