Gojek is a super app consisting of 18+ products. It’s one app for ordering food, commuting, digital payments, shopping, hyper-local delivery, getting a massage, and two dozen services. It’s Indonesia’s first and fastest growing unicorn, building an on-demand empire.
We ship 40+ feature every month across all products. We are also expanding to multiple countries. We need a robust and versatile automation framework to ensure quality of the products that we are delivering to our customers, driver partners and merchant partners. We are looking for a Product Owner to lead mobile automation engineering framework at Gojek.
Responsibilities
- Understanding the complexity and the scale of our mobile environment and conceptualising an automation framework for the same.
- Building a high performant team of engineers to execute the same.
- Leading implementation of the framework while ensuring the best project management and engineering practices are followed.
- Evangelising the framework across Gojek and get it adopted across all products
- Mentoring the team members.
- Work closely with Engineering and Product leads to gather feedback and enhance the framework.
Qualification
- Rich experience in building high quality, low latency automation framework
- Experience in testing Android and iOS applications .
- Understanding of device capabilities and differences across platforms and OS versions
- Experience in test automation and testing frameworks
- An understanding of software release processes, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), branching models, etc.
- Strong execution skills with demonstrable record of creating test plans and writing test cases. Significant expertise in functional and non-functional testing.
- A history of creating and improving metrics around your work, setting targets, managing quarterly plans or OKRs
- Experience of communicating and collaborating with development and business based at various locations
- Experience in managing team of high performant engineers
- Experience in managing project in rapid-release cycle environment.
- Must be comfortable in startup environment. Self motivated and takes initiatives.
