Location: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Jamestown, Fargo, Bismarck or Grand Forks
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Job Schedule: Full Time, Salaried
Weekly Hours: 40
JOB SUMMARY
The Annual Fund Director will create, implement, and execute donor acquisition fundraising strategy. The Annual Fund Director plays a significant role in implementation of fundraising plans and activities that align with Anne Carlsen’s strategic direction. Functions includes building lasting relationships with donors, managing communications with donors and other constituents, and collaborating with the Development team to effectively execute development and fundraising events. The Annual Fund Director will be responsible for creation and implementation of multiple annual fundraising campaigns and also will be responsible for collaboration of mailings and newsletters. The incumbent provides organization, vision, execution, and follow-up of annual donor support carried out by the development team.
QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)
Education and/or years’ experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or commensurate experience
- Three years’ experience of public-facing skills
- Proficiency in oral and written communications
- Working knowledge of computer and technical skills related
- Experience in writing professional fundraising materials
- Proficient in fundraising solicitation/communications
- Ability to travel (primarily in-state) with occasional overnight stay
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Experience managing annual fund programs for a non-profit organization
- Experience with CMS Program
- Experience in planned-giving or trust management
Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.
