Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our shipping and
• logistics company. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in the shipping and
• logistics industry with a strong background in freight forwarding. As a Business Development
• Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to
• increase revenue, market share, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the company's sales goals and objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
• Prepare and present proposals to clients that align with their business needs and objectives.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to promote the company and build relationships with potential clients.
• Prepare and present business development reports to senior management on a regular basis.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
2. 5-7 years of experience in shipping and logistics, with a strong background in freight forwarding.
3. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies and achieving sales targets.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
6. Strong customer focus and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
