Job Description

Main responsibilities will include:

• Providing HR advice and support to managers and employees.
• Managing disciplinary proceedings, grievance hearings and appeals.
• Conducting investigations into workplace complaints or allegations of misconduct.
• Administering redundancy processes, including consultation meetings and selection procedures.
• Supporting line managers in performance management processes, including providing advice on formal procedures such as capability and disciplinary action where appropriate.
• Developing and implementing HR policies and strategies.
• Monitoring staff absence and attendance and identifying trends in order to provide recommendations for improvement.
• Organizing and delivering training sessions and workshops on various topics related to HR.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including employee files and personnel data systems.
• Work with the local Works Councils in a constructive dialogue in order to reach mutually beneficial agreements on issues such as wages, benefits, and working conditions.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in law, HR or psychology. Master's level or equivalent experience in HR.
• Background in labor law or employment law and five to ten (5 - 10) years' experience in human resources.
• Fluent in English
