People & Culture Coordinator
The People & Culture (P&C) Coordinator is a key connector across the organization—responsible for leading recruitment efforts, supporting onboarding and employee engagement, and ensuring smooth P&C operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment with competing priorities and a high sense of urgency. Reporting Responsibilities
The People & Culture Coordinator reports directly to the People & Culture Manager.
Education Required
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
Decision Making:
Ability to plan projects that may take up to one year to complete.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in HR, ideally in a multi-site or education-focused environment.
- Experience with Dayforce or similar HRIS platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
Specific Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for campus and HQ roles: job postings, screening, interviews scheduling, offers, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and partnerships with schools and associations.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics, orientation sessions, and cross-functional alignment for new hires.
- Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate-to-new-hire experience.
Administration & Compliance
- Draft and manage employment contracts, amendments, and official correspondence.
- Maintain accurate employee records, trackers, and compliance documentation (e.g vulnerable sector checks).
- Respond to inquiries and manage shared inboxes.
- Support policy communication and implementation.
HR Systems & Reporting
- Use Dayforce to manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance processes.
- Generate and maintain department reports as needed, including recruitment metrics, onboarding status, and compliance tracking.
- Monitor and report on key recruitment KPIs such as time-to-fill, and candidate pipeline health to support continuous improvement.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Conduct check-ins, stay interviews, and support employee engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate on recognition programs, HR communications, and special projects.
- Participate in committees (e.g., Health & Safety, Social) and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Lead employee engagement activities with guidance from the P&C Manager.
Partnership and Networking
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners such as colleges, universities, and professional associations to support recruitment efforts.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, networking events, and industry functions to promote employer branding.
- Develop and nurture a network of potential candidates and referral sources to proactively support talent acquisition.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and leverage partnership opportunities aligned with workforce planning needs.

Salary Range:
$50,000 - $60,000 per year.
Working Conditions:
- This is a full-time position, typically Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility required to support recruitment events, onboarding, or urgent People & Culture matters.
- The role is based in a fast-paced, high-demand environment where priorities can shift quickly and multiple tasks must be managed simultaneously.
- Regular travel between campus locations will be required.
- Occasional travel to attend external events such as job fairs, training sessions, and other relevant engagements is part of the role.
- The role involves handling confidential and sensitive information, requiring discretion, professionalism, and emotional maturity.
