About you
You should have a BS in Electrical Engineering / Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent) and/or independent experience working on laboratory or robotic hardware as displayed by prior employment/projects. The following should also describe you:

What you'll do
Take responsibility for uptime on a multi million dollar pipeline through equipment maintenance and rapid response to issues
Interface with CLIA personnel to troubleshoot problems and schedule maintenance and repairs
Manage service contracts for all third-party instruments and handle service visits
Work closely with automation service engineers to define critical feature requests and potential improvements
Maintain the most advanced laboratory technology in molecular diagnostics
Help fabricate and deploy low-volume custom hardware: from sensor-driven electrical circuits to structural supports for heavy equipment
Develop, optimize and troubleshoot liquid handling processes on multiple instrument types
Help specify and support implementation of custom software tools to improve efficiency of robotics stack (robots, gantries, PLCs, scheduling, tracking, safety, etc...)
Use all technological tools at your disposal to optimize your efficiency - propose new tools
Apply cutting edge technology to quite literally save lives
