We’re currently looking for a motivated and resourceful Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic US Mining team at Quadra.

In this role, you’ll collaborate across departments—finance, customer service, marketing, and more—playing a key role in ensuring seamless supply chain operations. You will be at the heart of the action, managing relationships with both local and international suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and smooth resolutions to any procurement challenges.

What would be your main responsibilities as a Procurement Specialist in the Mining group :

  • Monitor customer demand and adjust procurement and inventory levels proactively.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Managers, and Operations to align supply with business needs.
  • Place and track replenishment orders with global suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and manage stock levels to meet service and cost objectives.
  • Analyze procurement and inventory reports to support data-driven decisions.
  • Enter and manage data across platforms (JD Edwards, Excel, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Review incoming material documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Support Product Managers in analyzing sales trends and market activity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers.
  • Contribute to procurement-related projects focused on efficiency, cost savings, and supply chain optimization.

What are the needed qualifications to succeed in this position?:

  • Post-secondary education or university degree in supply chain, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical procurement, ideally within an industrial or mining environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, JD Edwards).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with global suppliers.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Self-driven, solutions-focused, and eager to continuously learn and grow.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and committed to contributing to a high-performance culture.

Compensation Information: The annual base pay range for this position is reasonably expected to be $56,600.00 to $85,000.00 USD. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a generous incentive program and benefits. Quadra’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. Please note that the base pay shown qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
