As the Director, Worldwide Professional Education you will:

 

Be responsible for leading the development of the global Electrophysiology education strategy for external customers, i.e.., electrophysiologists, cardiac catheter lab staff, etc.  In addition, the Director is responsible for oversight of the delivery and execution of all associated external training programs in the United States. This individual will oversee the design and development of global learning continuums, learning strategies and content for targeted procedures, products, workflows and new product introductions. The scope of responsibility is for the implementation of the WW strategy in each region.  In addition, this individual will collaborate cross functionally and oversee the development and management of WW Key Opinion Leaders. 


The Director will partner with senior Electrophysiology leadership to align priorities and global deliverables, ensuring a high degree of content & execution consistency. The Director will also shape strategy for new clinical innovation spaces/company acquisitions and participate on Electrophysiology Education Leadership and Global Professional Education Governance teams.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with senior leadership including (Global & Regional) Marketing, Sales, Commercial Education, Professional Education and new technology teams to understand business/marketing objectives.
  • Assesses business and training needs in all four regions and develop strategies to build Electrophysiology capabilities globally in order to achieve business results.
  • Works with the regions to identify key faculty and directs all content development for Electrophysiology training, including launches (Launch Excellence).
  • Oversees the development of all Johnson & Johnson Institute US learning continuums for Electrophysiology.
  • Lead Regional Training teams to execute the training strategy to globalize the JJMD learning model and programs.
  • Work with regional Professional Education teams and business partners to build sustainable customer education footprint in every major market.
  • Drives innovation in educating customers and contributes to the Johnson & Johnson Institute strategy to build a learner centric experience in all regions.
  • Collaborate with members of the Electrophysiology leadership team to improve effectiveness and efficiency of global training programs.
  • Leads the Education Grant Committee, ensuring the strategy is executed following all regulatory and health care compliance policies
  • Recruit, on-board, and continuously develop all team members
  • Partners with HCC to ensure all external education programs and solutions are compliant
  • Works with procurement, legal, and other Johnson & Johnson departments on vendor selection, contract negotiations and statements of works to ensure adherence to company policies and that direct/outsourced projects meet Johnson & Johnson’s agreed upon expectations.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years with history of success in healthcare functions (Sales, Instructional Design, Training facilitation, Marketing/other Commercial Functions)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in demonstrated clinical strength within the electrophysiology/cardiology space.
  • Minimum of 3 years successfully managing a team of employees.
  • Strong influence management and communications skills.
  • Proven ability to understand business strategy; successfully translate/execute into training that support the company’s WW business goals.
  • Ability to develop and lead a team across a matrix organization.
  • Ensure metrics collaboration to measure effectiveness of training to improve sales performance.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree.
  • Instructional Design expertise with clinical curriculum.
  • Physical working conditions / requirements: Up to 40% domestic and/or international travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$150,000.00 - $258,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
