Position Summary

As Technical Director, you will lead our product engineering, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance efforts. This is a strategic leadership role where your expertise will directly shape our product innovation, operational excellence, and commitment to safety and sustainability. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure our products meet the highest standards—while fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Innovation

  • Lead the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, and manufacturing to deliver inclusive, high-quality solutions.
  • Champion innovation that reflects diverse customer needs and market trends.

Quality Assurance

  • Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with ISO and other standards.
  • Lead quality control efforts across all stages of production.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., EPA, OSHA).
  • Guide the organization through evolving regulatory landscapes with transparency and integrity.

Audits & Inspections

  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and accountability.
  • Monitor supplier and vendor compliance with our quality and equity standards.

Continuous Improvement

  • Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes and reduce waste.
  • Use quality data to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Foster an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and valued.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for quality, safety, and equity.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Master’s or certifications like CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in product development, QA, and regulatory compliance in the chemical or CPG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, GMP, and environmental regulations.
  • Proven leadership in managing audits, compliance documentation, and cross-functional teams.
