Description
The Power Systems & Electrification section provides risk assessments and electrification studies for the offshore industry. We work with oil majors, ship owners, and power system vendors on power system assessments, system optimization, and control and safety system evaluations for key assets worldwide.
About the role:
We are looking for a Summer Student to join our Power Systems and Electrification team in Gdynia, Poland. You will work closely with experienced engineers and gain practical, hands-on experience in areas such as:
Power and control systems advisory
Power system stability and protection
Risk assessments related to power systems, control systems, safety systems
You may also take part in activities such as site visits, vessel surveys (including sea trials), technical workshops, and international projects.
What you will do:
Support engineering and consultancy projects related to power systems
Assist in delivering services to maritime and offshore clients
Work with a team on technical analyses and reports
Join meetings and workshops with clients and colleagues
This is a summer position with the possibility to continue on a part-time or full-time basis after the summer, depending on performance and business needs.

About you:
Student (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Power Systems, Automation Engineering, or a related field
Interest in power systems and electrification
Familiarity with power system modelling tools (e.g. DIgSILENT PowerFactory) is an advantage, but not required
Able to work both independently and in a team
Good communication skills in English
Motivated, curious, and willing to learn
