Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the entire application lifecycle. The role includes integrating various systems and tools to streamline delivery while maintaining high standards of quality. Daily activities encompass continuous testing efforts focused on security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites. The position also involves developing and executing automation strategies, creating automated test scripts, and managing data and environment configurations. Regular participation in code reviews and defect monitoring supports ongoing improvements in testing processes, ensuring robust and reliable software delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, specifically with Databricks. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and workflows, ensuring data quality and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
- Implement ETL processes and data transformations.
- Optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.
- Ensure data quality and integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing activities within the development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to development teams to facilitate prompt resolution of issues.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with task execution to foster professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with Databricks, Python and ADF.
- Proficiency in Python, Spark, REST API, Good to have skill in Airflow.
- Strong understanding of data pipeline concepts.
- Experience with cloud platform - Azure ADLS.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks.
- Experience with cloud-based data processing and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Ability to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies for complex applications.
- Knowledge of environment configuration and data management in testing contexts.
Additional Information:
- Experience with Airflow orchestrations.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Databricks.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
