Details at www.duq.edu/benefits Location: University Controller Position Status: Full-time Hours: Varied Position Number: 436515/10-1126 FLSA Status: Exempt POSITION SUMMARY: The Accounting Analyst position is in the Office of the Controller. This is administrative/professional work in general accounting. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for a range of accounting functions within the Controller’s Office, including: Preparation of journal entries Preparation of invoices for external parties Assisting with inventory accounting Providing support to Post Award Services Providing support in the preparation of the University’s annual Form 990 Daily accounting file transfers and imports to Banner Conducts variance analysis for accounts included in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Responsible for the timely preparation and completion of various year end schedules and work papers used by the independent auditors in conjunction with their examination of the university’s financial statements. Carries out regular and ad hoc projects, as assigned by the supervisor. Completes other duties as assigned.
