This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex operational problems, working closely with customers, and building products that drive measurable business value.

As a Product Manager, Grain, you will own the strategy, discovery, requirements, and delivery of Grain-focused product experiences that integrate with ERP systems and support critical agribusiness workflows.

You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Integrations, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Support, and customers to identify opportunities, define solutions, and deliver products that improve efficiency, increase visibility, and reduce manual work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own product discovery, prioritization, and roadmap planning for Grain-focused workflows including offers, contracts, scale tickets, settlements, commodity balances, and related ERP-integrated experiences.
  • Develop deep expertise in grain origination, merchandising, elevator operations, and farmer-facing grain workflows.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and validate solutions.
  • Translate complex workflows into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams, prototypes, and implementation-ready documentation.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Integrations teams to understand APIs, data flows, integration constraints, edge cases, and operational requirements.
  • Leverage AI-first tools to accelerate product discovery, workflow analysis, prototyping, documentation, and validation.
  • Use customer feedback, support trends, usage data, and business metrics to inform product decisions and prioritization.
  • Define requirements for ERP-connected workflows including data mapping, synchronization behavior, permissions, error handling, operational visibility, and implementation needs.
  • Evaluate tradeoffs, risks, customer impact, and business outcomes to drive effective decision-making.
  • Monitor product performance and adoption to continuously improve customer outcomes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support product launches and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Grain and ERP-integrated product experiences.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Product Design, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in technology, SaaS, workflow-based, data-intensive, or integration-driven products.
  • Strong understanding of product discovery, agile delivery, software development lifecycles, and iterative product development.
  • Experience writing product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow documentation, and customer-facing materials.
  • Ability to quickly understand and document complex business and operational workflows.
  • Strong systems-thinking skills with an understanding of APIs, integrations, data movement, dependencies, and edge cases.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve product management, research, analysis, documentation, or prototyping workflows.
  • Strong customer discovery, prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in grain, agribusiness, commodity trading, grain origination, merchandising, or elevator operations.
  • Experience with agricultural ERP systems or ERP-integrated software products.
  • Familiarity with grain contracts, offers, settlements, scale tickets, commodity balances, bids, or farmer-facing workflows.
  • Experience working on B2B SaaS, AgTech, FinTech, CRM, workflow automation, or data-heavy products.
  • Experience with AI-assisted product discovery, prototyping, workflow analysis, or customer research.
  • Familiarity with design systems, Figma, AI-assisted design tools, low-code/no-code platforms, and rapid prototyping methodologies.
