Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our mining team. The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for analyzing equipment performance data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing strategies to increase equipment reliability and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Identify and prioritize equipment reliability issues and develop solutions to address them.
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and develop corrective action plans.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with maintenance supervisors, technicians, and other personnel to ensure efficient operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a reliability engineer, preferably in a mining or industrial environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in reliability analysis software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in outdoor and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
