About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
As a Strategic Learning Partnership Lead, you will operate as a senior internal consultant, partnering with Executive and senior leaders to shape enterprise capability strategy and strengthen organisational performance. Working at the intersection of business strategy, workforce capability, and performance outcomes, you will diagnose root causes of performance gaps, prioritise capability investment, and ensure interventions deliver measurable impact for ACC and the communities we serve.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and governing capability investment, influencing learning strategy, managing demand, and ensuring capability initiatives deliver meaningful performance outcomes, contributing to keeping Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.
The appointing salary for this role is $146,000 – $179,000 (based on experience) and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance, and flexibility to change to a locked plan at any time.

You will bring:
- Significant experience operating at a senior advisory or consulting level, including influencing Executive leaders on strategic capability and learning investments
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing complex organisational challenges and delivering strategic, evidence-based recommendations
- Proven experience partnering with senior business leaders to prioritise capability needs and investment decisions
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to use data and insights to demonstrate impact and inform decisions
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence in presenting to senior leaders and translating strategy into clear briefs
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience working across matrix or complex organisational environments
- Knowledge of organisational development, capability strategy, and performance consulting frameworks
- Demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in organisational systems and practices
- You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application
