Summary:

In this role, you must be passionate about working in the hospitality industry with a fan (customer) forward approach to all interactions. The Security Team Lead will oversee the Security team, providing instructions in all pre-shift meetings and ensuring seamless security protocols while on shift while communicating effectively with management on duty.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safety and security of fans, team members, and venue assets.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Coordinate security operations and activities to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
• Lead and supervise a team of security guards, providing them with training and guidance.
• Assign Security team to appropriate shift stations.
• Check identification of any fan who appears to be under 30 years of age who is drinking alcoholic beverages in the venue.
• Lead fans and other team members in emergency evacuation procedures and provide assistance if needed.

Respond to emergency and security incidents promptly and effectively. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises. May write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Prepare reports detailing security incidents and actions taken. Patrol premises, monitor CCTV, handling security breaches, and responding to alarms.Ensure all security equipment is in good working order and notify security manager of any needed repairs or replacements. Enforce Cosm policy Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas. Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises. Act as a liaison with law enforcement and other relevant authorities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required
• California Guard Card required
• Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred.
• Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures.
• Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
• A strong sense of teamwork and hospitality forward mindset
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+ and occasional sitting.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays

The hourly rate for this position in California is $26.00. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
