Description

Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) is seeking an experienced Senior Organizational Change Manager to support the integration of organizational change management (OCM) as a core capability within Information Services (IS). This role supports the successful adoption and sustainment of technology, process, and workflow changes across clinical, operational, and administrative teams.
The Senior Organizational Change Manager serves as the primary change management resource for assigned initiatives, partnering closely with IS, clinical, and operational stakeholders to assess change impacts, develop and execute change strategies, and support stakeholder readiness and adoption. This role plays a key part in advancing structured, repeatable change management practices within IS and across the broader organization.
Reporting Relationship: Reports to Manager, IS Organizational Change Management
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Serves as the primary Organizational Change Management resource for assigned initiatives, leading OCM activities from project initiation through post‑implementation sustainment
• Partners with IS, clinical, and operational stakeholders to understand the nature, scope, and impact of technology, process, and workflow changes
• Conducts change impact and stakeholder assessments to identify affected roles, readiness levels, adoption risks, and potential resistance
• Develops and executes integrated change management plans, including communication, engagement, training, and adoption strategies
• Collaborates with project managers and delivery teams to align change activities with overall project plans, timelines, and delivery milestones
• Works closely with training, communications, and operational leaders to ensure messaging, learning, and reinforcement activities support successful adoption
• Facilitates workshops, interviews, and working sessions to gather input, validate impacts, and support change planning
• Identifies change‑related risks and resistance points and develops mitigation strategies in collaboration with project and operational leaders
• Supports go‑live and post‑implementation activities to reinforce adoption and transition changes into sustainment
Skills & Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Eight (8) years of experience leading or supporting organizational change efforts associated with complex system, process, or technology implementations
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for four (4) years of work experience
• Master’s degree may substitute for two (2) additional years of work experience
• Up to two (2) years of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for up to two (2) years of information systems experience on a month-to-month basis

Preferred skills/experiences:
• Experience performing organizational change management for complex IT, clinical, or operational initiatives
• Experience conducting change impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, and readiness assessments
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute change, communication, training, and adoption plans
• Formal change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP/CCMP, or similar) preferred, with demonstrated application of change methodologies on complex initiatives
• Strong collaboration and partnership skills across IS and operational teams
• Experience supporting enterprise system implementations or large‑scale organizational transformations
• Strong written, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex change into clear, actionable messages
• Healthcare experience a plus
