Discovering your exciting role

As an Operations Director at EXENTEC Cleanroom & Dry room, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire production process. Your focus will be on maximizing efficiency, quality, and safety while fostering a culture of servant leadership. You’ll lead and coordinate production, purchasing, planning, sales and facilities management, ensuring seamless operations across all functions.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Production Management:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant.
    • Set production targets and monitor that the goals being met.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
    • Uphold quality control standards throughout all stages of production.
    • Collaborate with production supervisors and workers to achieve production goals.
  • Purchasing and Supply Chain:
    • Lead and motivate the team to drive procurement processes, negotiate contracts, and optimize inventory levels.
    • Ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
    • Foster strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
    • Broadening of supplier base
  • Planning and Logistics:
    • Lead team to create production schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional and international teams to meet delivery deadlines; joint decision making about manufacturing location together with leaders in other geographies.
    • Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes.
  • Facilities Management:
    • Maintain and enhance manufacturing facilities, including equipment and infrastructure.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
    • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering team for facility improvements.
  • Servant Leadership and People Development:
    • Cultivate a positive work environment based on servant leadership principles.
    • Mentor and develop team members, emphasizing their growth and well-being.
    • Encourage open communication, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Human Resources:
    • Ensure appropriate staffing based on work in hand and under consideration of sales projections
  • Financial Oversight:
    • Manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
    • Full P&L responsibility.
    • Perform manufacturing cost calculations to support Sales activities and preparation of offers
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
    • Collaborate with finance to align financial goals with operational strategies (forecast and budgeting)
  • Sales:
    • Oversee sales funnel of the company and provide guidance to the sales department how to chase project opportunities
    • Strategic thinking about which industries and projects to target; likely even paired with personal involvement in business development

Show your expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience in manufacturing operations, including production, supply chain, and facilities management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Passion for developing people and fostering a positive work culture.

What can you expect

The work environment characteristics include periodic noise increases when in the Manufacturing facility, although the office environment is usually quiet and respectful. Safety glasses and other required safety protection should be worn when out in the manufacturing facility, which may vary depending on the area you are working/visiting.
