Description
We are seeking a Technical Scrum Master to join our Cloud Engineering function, supporting the delivery of cloud and infrastructure capabilities across product and programme teams. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in shaping and maintaining a growing backlog of shared services, while working closely with engineering teams to drive high-quality, business-aligned outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
- Capturing and translating stakeholder requirements into clear, deliverable outcomes
- Developing well-defined user stories and scope to ensure work is ready for delivery
- Managing and maintaining a backlog of cloud and infrastructure capabilities aligned to business priorities
- Assessing capacity against demand and supporting planning, estimation and prioritisation
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies and promoting best practice across engineering teams
- Identifying dependencies and removing impediments to maintain delivery flow
- Supporting continuous improvement by introducing reusable capabilities across teams
- Ensuring delivery meets quality standards and contributes to strong business outcomes
Who we're looking for:
- Experience working as a Scrum Master, ideally within technical or engineering environments
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, with experience running Agile ceremonies
- Technical background or proven experience working closely with engineering teams and understanding technical concepts
- Exposure to cloud and infrastructure environments such as Azure, AWS or GCP
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
- Confidence working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and demands
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance delivery and planning
- Agile or Scrum certification (desirable) with a commitment to continuous learning
