Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the development process and serving as the main liaison for project-related communications. The position demands a proactive approach to managing tasks, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the applications meet the required specifications and quality standards. The engineer continuously monitors progress, addresses challenges, and adapts solutions to align with evolving project needs, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills.
- Continuously evaluate and improve application performance and reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Talend ETL.
- Experience in designing and implementing data integration workflows using Talend ETL tools.
- Strong knowledge of data transformation, extraction, and loading processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with database systems and data warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of best practices in data quality and governance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Talend ETL.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
