Roles & responsibilities

We are recruiting for the Assistant Manager position in the UK Corporate Tax team financial services hub with subject matter expertise in UK Corporate Tax Compliance and Tax Accounting.

Working as an Assistant Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:

•Provide tax compliance and tax accounting services to a wide range of corporate clients from financial services side of business which includes Asset Management (including Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Funds), Banking and Insurance.

•Perform the role of first reviewer on simple, medium and complex complexity computations.

•If desired, the role offers the opportunity to get involved in tax advisory work to help build out your expertise and experience.

•Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team based between India and the UK.

•Maintain a portfolio of clients and take responsibility for ensuring the tax computations are prepared to a high standard, on a timely basis and finalized and submitted to HMRC within agreed deadlines .

•Oversee the work of assistants, providing coaching and technical guidance as part of the overall review process.

•Provide support to the Tax Management and Leadership both in India and the UK with the implementation of various business strategies.

•Identify opportunities for providing additional services to clients within your portfolio.

•Make use of available technologies and MI reports to manage your team and engagements as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Educational qualifications

•Degree from reputable university with excellent academic result.

•CA, ACCA, ACA, ICAI and/or ATT / CTA qualification would be highly desirable.
