Position Summary: The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive patient volume growth, physician alignment, service line expansion, and brand consistency across Sequel Ortho's multiple locations. This role operates within a centralized shared services model and partners closely with executive leadership, physician stakeholders, operations, and clinical service lines to align marketing initiatives with strategic growth priorities, including provider recruitment support, ancillary service expansion and market share growth.

Experience:
- 5-8 years of progressive strategic planning, business development, marketing, or public relations experience required.
- Health care and management experience preferred.
- Experience leading a team and collaborating effectively between departments preferred.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong understanding of healthcare marketing, including patient acquisition, referral dynamics, and orthopedic service lines
- Knowledge of ancillary services and strategies to drive utilization and margin growth
- Proficiency in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies (digital, referral, community outreach)
- Ability to translate enterprise growth strategy into measurable marketing plans and outcomes
- Advanced analytical skills with experience using KPIs, dashboards, and ROI-driven decision making
- Skilled in managing physician relationships and influencing key stakeholders across clinical and executive teams
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, including multi-site marketing initiatives and practice integrations
- Experience managing external vendors and optimizing marketing spend for performance and efficiency
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights and recommendations in an executive-ready format
- High accountability with a results-oriented mindset, driving measurable growth in patient volume, provider ramp, and service line performance.
- Proficiency with marketing and business technology and platforms, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media.
Essential Job Functions
Growth Strategy & Patient Acquisition
- Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with strategic growth priorities, service line goals, geography, and provider capacity.
- Drive patient acquisition across digital, referral, and community channels.
- Support provider ramp-up plans, onboarding campaigns, and panel growth targets.
Physician, Referral & Service Line Marketing
- Design referral growth strategies to increase downstream volume from PCPs, urgent care, specialty partners, and outreach channels.
- Build physician-specific marketing plans, including digital presence, reputation management, and referral engagement.
- Lead marketing initiatives for high-growth service lines and ancillary services to optimize utilization and margin growth.
Digital, Brand & Reputation Management
- Oversee digital marketing performance, including SEO/SEM, paid media, website content, and conversion optimization.
- Manage online reputation and patient reviews to enhance provider visibility and trust.
- Ensure brand consistency across locations and touchpoints, including newly acquired entities.
Integration, Change Management & Partnerships
- Support marketing integration of acquired practices, including rebranding, platform alignment, communication strategy, and messaging transition.
- Develop change management communication plans for internal stakeholders and providers.
- Manage external partners, vendors, agencies, and related performance expectations across Sequel Ortho.
Analytics, Reporting & ROI Management
- Monitor KPI dashboards and marketing performance to identify opportunities, successes, and areas of focus.
- Use data and analytics to optimize campaigns, vendor performance, and marketing spend.
- Present monthly performance insights and actionable recommendations to leadership.
Miscellaneous responsibilities to include:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, licensure, documentation, privacy, risk management, and organizational standards.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
- Attend and participate in department meetings.
- Attend mandatory educational programs.
- Follow established guidelines as stated in hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Physical requirements: This position is classified as Sedentary Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally) up to (33% of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (33%-66% of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment physical and drug testing. Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical with a drug screen, background check and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
