Job Summary:
The HR Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training to new hires and existing team members, ensuring consistent execution of brand standards, operational procedures, and exceptional guest service. This role supports the onboarding process, continuous learning, and the development of a strong team culture focused on excellence, safety, and hospitality.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and support new hire onboarding to ensure a smooth and engaging start
- Help Design, develop, and deliver new training programs for front & back of house teams
- Assign and track training completion, ensuring all team members stay compliant
- Maintain accurate training records and reports for leadership review
- Monitor progress and follow up on incomplete training requirements
- Support administrative tasks related to training, scheduling, and documentation
- Continuously improve training content to enhance team performance and guest experience
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in training, HR, or F&B operations
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs (in-person and/or virtual)
- Strong knowledge of hospitality standards, food safety, and service excellence
- Familiarity with labor laws, HR policies, and compliance training
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)and training tracking tools
- Ability to analyze training needs and measure effectiveness (KPIs, feedback, performance metrics)
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training schedules and priorities
- High level of professionalism, adaptability, and emotional intelligence
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays (if required in F&B operations)
- Certification in training, HR, or hospitality (e.g., Train-the-Trainer, SHRM, or equivalent) is a plus
- Experience in high-volume or pre-opening environments is an advantage
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred.
