In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking full ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based solutions. This includes managing the configuration, integration, and deployment processes to ensure seamless operation. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while aligning with both business objectives and vendor requirements. Collaboration with various stakeholders to drive solution evolution and address emerging challenges is a key aspect of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance solution quality and delivery efficiency.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to foster professional growth and technical excellence.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and support to achieve objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines within cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of configuration management and release management processes.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable solutions in a packaged or Software as a Service context.
- Familiarity with platform stability and performance optimization techniques.
- Competence in collaborating with business and vendor teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
