What You"ll Do:
As a PHP/Laravel Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining web applications. Youll work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment to ensure the code is secure, scalable, and high-quality, while also meeting business needs.
Develop & Enhance: Design, build, and optimize advanced web applications.
Code Quality: Ensure robust, clean, and secure PHP/Laravel code.
Testing: Write and execute unit, functional, and integration tests.
Database Optimization: Work on optimizing MySQL queries and schema designs.
Requirements Analysis: Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation for developed features.
Support & Troubleshooting: Offer support for live systems and address technical issues proactively.
Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and business stakeholders, to meet deadlines.

Your Skills & Experience:
Experience: 5+ years as a PHP/Laravel Developer.
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.
Technical Proficiency:
Deep expertise in PHP and Laravel Framework.
Strong experience in SQL schema design, REST API design, and SOLID principles.
Familiarity with software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec).
Experience in MySQL profiling and query optimization.
Git version control expertise.
Prior exposure to FinTech or FX industries is a plus.
Creative Problem Solver: A solution-driven mindset with an ability to tackle complex technical issues efficiently.
Eligibility: EU passport or eligibility to work in Cyprus is required.
