Position Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist (Temporary)

Duration: 3-6months

Program: Human Resources

Salary Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per Hour

Program Description:

Project Renewal is seeking a Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist to support full‑cycle recruitment for clinical, shelter, housing, and hard‑to‑fill roles across the organization. This temporary position (3-6 months) will focus on staffing new and existing programs, including shelters, supportive housing, and medical/behavioral health clinics

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential duties of the Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist role include but are not limited to the following activities:

  • Lead full‑cycle recruitment for clinical, shelter, housing, and hard‑to‑fill roles.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and pipelines for high‑demand roles (e.g., RNs, LPNs, Psych NP, Case Managers, Residential Aides).
  • Support recruitment for new program launches, including shelters, housing programs, and clinics.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide real‑time updates.
  • Review resumes, conduct screenings, coordinate interviews, and manage candidate flow.
  • Utilize the ATS to ensure accurate tracking and record‑keeping.
  • Coordinate job fairs, hiring events, and agency partnerships.
  • Provide weekly recruitment metrics and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with HR team for smooth onboarding handoff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5–7+ years recruiting experience; clinical or social‑services recruiting strongly preferred.
  • Experience with hard‑to‑fill roles in healthcare, shelters, housing, or similar settings.
  • Strong sourcing skills (LinkedIn, Indeed, community boards, schools).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
  • Experience with ATS systems preferred.
  • Ability to travel to multiple NYC sites.
