Launch your career in construction project management while learning a specialized, high-demand trade. Our Fire Protection Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager who’s motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow.
In this hands-on role, you’ll work alongside experienced Project Managers, Foremen, and Coordinators to support fire protection projects from start to finish. You’ll gain exposure to planning, field operations, procurement, financial tracking, and closeout—building a strong foundation for long-term career growth.
What You’ll Do
- Support Project Managers with day-to-day planning, coordination, and documentation
- Ensure field teams have current drawings, RFIs, submittals, and schedules
- Assist with permits, vendor pricing, material deliveries, and fabrication releases
- Help track costs, labor, change orders, and project documentation
- Participate in project meetings, coordination efforts, and closeout activities
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years of experience
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Interest in construction, mechanical systems, or fire protection
