Job Purpose
The Engineer will support simulation, digital visualization, and systems software deployment activities across ST Backend worldwide. In addition to developing and maintaining AnyLogic simulation models, the role requires a high degree of independence as an AnyLogic super user and consultant, providing guidance to site teams, reviewing and monitoring site-level simulation projects, and coordinating multiple site modelers to support mega projects. The Engineer will also serve as a project coordinator / project manager for systems software deployment plans and related engineering initiatives
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a super user to maintain and support the AnyLogic community, including knowledge sharing, user guidance, and issue resolution.
- Serve as a subject matter support contact for AnyLogic simulation.
- Develop, review, and improve simulation models for advanced automation, production flow, and engineering studies.
- Provide consultation and technical guidance to site teams on simulation methods, model structure, and project execution.
- Monitor and support simulation projects across different sites to ensure alignment with project objectives and standards methodology.
- Act as a project coordinator for mega projects, ensuring effective consolidation of contributions from modelers across multiple sites.
- Support project management activities, including planning, tracking, coordination, and reporting for simulation and systems software deployment programs.
- Work closely with engineering, project, and site stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of outputs.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials, technical documentation, and project status updates.
- Support digital visualization and communication activities where required.
Required Skills / Competencies
- Degree in engineering, simulation, automation, systems engineering, or related discipline.
- Strong experience in AnyLogic simulation, preferably with the ability to act as a super user or advanced practitioner.
- Ability to work independently and provide technical consultation to site teams.
- Experience in project coordination or project management is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of semiconductor process steps, production flows, and advanced automation technologies.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate across different teams/sites.
