Description

The Senior HR Manager APAC will lead the APAC Human Resources in support of the regional Divisional APAC Strategy in line with the global HR strategy. The HR Manager APAC will oversee the regional HR talent and business partner support function, ensuring implementation of the HR strategy and goals, supporting leaders and team members in their performance and development, providing coaching and guidance to leaders to support the business, and implementing global processes and standards that enable consistent service and support of organizational growth. This position works in close collaboration with our Centers of Expertise (COE’s) team members and is expected to closely partner with our overall APAC divisional and functional team members to enable the delivery of business results.

This position reports to the Senior Director HR, International Markets based in Belgium.

This role is hybrid and based out of our office in Bangkok, Thailand.

Responsibilities

As Manager, HR, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Liaise with Global teams to implement and, if needed, adapt global HR strategies and initiatives to regional requirements or needs.

  • Work with Regional leadership to understand the regional business priorities and adapt regional HR strategic initiatives in collaboration with global and international HR.

  • Collaborate and work with and leverage the Global Centers of Expertise (COE), aligning local HR activities with Global HR standards and processes.

  • Management of a regional HRBP team, drive performance, and develop your team.

  • Support, coach, and mentor management regarding succession planning, local interpretation, and implementation, ensuring a consistent ‘One NSF’ approach.

  • Pay careful attention to regional leadership onboarding and support the HR teams in the onboarding of regional team members.

  • Leverage data to strategically coach and guide leaders as well as the HR team .

  • Coordinate and lead APAC-related HR projects required by local/regional legislation.

  • Responsible for local HRIS Data integrity to meet the global data standardization strategy and accurate reporting.

  • Collaborate closely with APAC Leadership and other support functions, such as FP&A.

  • Bring and model key cultural behaviors, drive engagement, thinking and employment branding perspectives;

  • Keep employees and leaders accountable for living our values and ethical standards.

  • Drive accountability and identify continuous improvement in terms of processes, policies, etc.

  • Drive a culture of purpose & performance, feedback and accountability through performance management consultation with leaders and employees. ​​​​​​​Support managers through Employee Relations issues and ensure effective and equitable resolution of performance issues. Facilitate employee relations conversations to provide constructive outcomes and sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

  • Substantial experience working in a global/international organization, preferably in a matrix-led organization.

  • At ease with global standardized processes that need to be implemented regionally.

  • Proven success in designing and executing regional HR strategies

  • Broad experience in all aspects of HR Business Partnering, including compensation & benefits, employee relations, local labour legislation, talent, succession planning, restructuring, and leadership in Thailand and in South Korea. Any other APAC countries is a plus.

  • Experience of supporting and implementing organizational change and ability to coach and mentor managers.

  • Experience in global mobility is a plus.

  • Experience with HR due diligence in M&A is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and support on Global and COE initiatives.

  • Proven experience with performance-based metrics and HRIS systems.

  • Excellent command of English. Any other languages is a plus.

  • Ability to manage complex and multiple projects.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • A creative thinker with a pragmatic approach to deliver effective HR solutions.
