Job Overview
Implements the organization's health and safety policies and procedures in order to meet organizational objectives and governmental regulations.
Job Requirements
- Advising on a range of specialist areas including fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.
- Ensuring health and safety guidelines, policies and processes in alignment with all applicable regulations and laws.
- Monitoring organizational training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks.
- Supervising, participating in and developing employee training on safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
What your background should look like
Typically requires more than 6 years of related work experience. Completion of an AA degree or equivalent is preferred. May be considered entry level for employees with Bachelor's degree in appropriate field or equivalent.
