Description
Responsibilities
- Provides high-level effort estimates on assigned tasks
- Works independently on assigned QA items
- Seek to gain understanding of the company's org/system infrastructure in order to troubleshoot issues and engage the appropriate engineering teams as issues arise
- Provides in-depth troubleshooting skills to assist in resolving errors and performance issues
- Be familiar with Exploratory testing methodologies
- Write detailed test cases and execute them
- Creatively & intuitively find bugs for recently added features in the application
- Perform regression testing and provide detailed bug reports & test results reports with reproducible test steps and screenshots
- Understand project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases
- Investigate customer problems referred to you by the technical support team, test bugs, and create and manage bug reports
- Be able to capture the appropriate logs in Salesforce to help diagnose issues
- Handle technical communications and understand the customers' systems
- Work with deployment teams, resolve level issues for systems, coordinate product design, and offer inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs
- Collaborates with the Salesforce team regarding application support, helping to oversee the communication, analysis, testing, and implementation as the need arises
- Remains aware and up to date of product developments that translate into environmental or code modifications.
- Leverage pre-defined processes, instructions, guidelines, and policies to perform day to day tasks.
- Works closely with development team to ensure processes, procedures, and best practices
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in QA role on Salesforce
- Good communication skills
- 2 years+ experience of using Apex, Visualforce, Flows and salesforce integrated/Interfacing applications
- Experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud
- Experience with Web Services testing using tools like ReadyAPI/Postman
- Well versed in UI, regression, performance, usability, acceptance, and ad-hoc testing
- Should be able to review/write test cases have experience on e2e testing prior UAT
- Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder or CPQ Specialist certification will be an added advantage
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Effectively works as a member of an agile team and/or independently
- Highly self-motivated to continuously learn new methodologies/technologies
