About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Back-End Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain the server-side logic and architecture of our platform. You will work collaboratively with front-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient e-commerce experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize the back-end systems of our e-commerce platform.
Build scalable and secure APIs to support front-end functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
Monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve back-end issues in a timely manner.
Stay current with emerging back-end technologies and best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., PHP, Java, C++, Python, etc.).
Solid understanding of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Bonus Points

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Professional experience with PHP and Magento development.
Experience working with AWS cloud services.
Knowledge of system architecture, microservices, and performance optimization techniques.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
