My client, a leader in Hong Kong's financial services landscape is embarking on a exciting journey to simplify and transform their business and IT landscape through a multi-year digitalization program. They are expanding the Digital, Data, and AI teams, and currently seeking an Database Administrator to join them and support multi-year projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage database systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Configure and maintain database servers, focusing on health monitoring and performance optimization.
• Analyze and resolve issues in real-time, providing comprehensive end-to-end problem resolution.
• Support database migration to a centralized system on a corporate private cloud platform.

Skills and Experience for success:

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years experience managing enterprise databases, preferably with SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools like GitLab, Ansible, and Jenkins is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good communication abilities in English and Chinese.
