The Opportunity

As the Quality Coordinator you will report into the Contract Manager and support them to set the strategy for improving competency and capability of quality for a local power station.

This is a permanent full-time position based onsite at Eraring Power Station, working Monday to Friday. We are only considering local applicants or candidates willing to relocate to the region.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Outage Manager to establish, maintain and continually improve the business quality strategy
• Work collaboratively to establish, maintain and continually improve quality standards, guidelines and governance.
• Work collaboratively to develop quality KRAs and metrics to monitor performance and identify best practices and where intervention is required
• Lead the implementation of Quality systems and processes, supported by operational project teams, quality resources and SMEs

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5+ years in a similar quality role
• Ideally 5+ years in contracting industry
• Highly regarded -C10 welding Supervisor ticket
• Quality standards and management systems application
• A robust understanding of AS/NZS ISO 9001 in the quality environment
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
• Minimum of 2yrs experience in SAP work order management system
• Understanding of work requirements in widely dispersed geographical national
• Knowledge of applicable statutory provisions across multiple jurisdictions
• Superior communication capabilities, with the ability to inform, negotiation and influence at all levels.
