On behalf of our client, a car rental company with 50 years of experience in over 45 countries, we are seeking for an Accounting Manager to join the finance department at the company’s headquarters in Markopoulo, Attica.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the accounting team (3–5 people)
• Collaboration with external partner to monitor and ensure the proper maintenance of accounting records (Category C)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage tax compliance obligations (VAT, payroll tax, income tax, annual filings)
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks
• Oversee fleet-related accounting: vehicle depreciation, cost allocation
• Collaborate with the IT department to develop solutions that will streamline accounting processes
• Control invoicing, B2B billing, accounts receivable and payable
• Collaborate with external partner on payroll management
• Budgeting and monthly reporting
