Responsibilities and Skills:

Good knowledge of computer hardware (PCs, network equipment, printers, monitors etc), assembly and diagnostics.

Experience and understanding of ActiveSync, ability to re-configure user mobile devices and Outlook without loss of data, to backup and restore.

Ability to gather up PC drivers from the Internet, ability to re-install operating system of the PC/laptop without use of recovery software from the vendor.

Understanding of the network routing principles, ability to troubleshoot the problems on the 1st level from the user side.

Familiarity with firewall security principles, rules processing, traffic proxy-ing. VPN client configuration and troubleshooting.

Understanding of the purpose of SIDs (security identifiers) in Microsoft environment.

Understanding of principles of DNS and DHCP.

Experience with VoIP office telephony system would be considered beneficial.

Experience with open-source software and Linux will be considered as a plus.
