Sheridan Community Hospital is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our recruitment and onboarding efforts.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring we hire and onboard the right people to deliver compassionate, high-quality care close to home. You will help create a positive candidate experience while maintaining compliance and supporting hiring managers across departments.

What You’ll Do
Recruitment Coordination
- Post and manage job openings
- Review applications and coordinate candidate screening
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates and hiring managers
- Track candidate progress and maintain clear communication
Pre-Employment & Onboarding
- Coordinate background checks, fingerprinting, physicals, and lab work
- Track completion of all pre-employment requirements
- Communicate onboarding steps and timelines to candidates
- Process I-9 and E-Verify documentation
- Enter new hires into HRIS (Paycom) and request system access
New Hire Experience
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation
- Provide facility tours and onboarding support
- Assign onboarding modules and track completion
- Support employees with systems access (email, Paycom, etc.)
Compliance & Process Support
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure audit readiness
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment laws, and accreditation standards
- Support recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate tracking
- Assist with job fairs, community outreach, and recruitment events
- Collaborate with HR team to improve hiring and onboarding processes
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of HR, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred
- Healthcare experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom preferred) and Microsoft Office
