We are seeking a skilled and
experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team. This
role demands deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Intune, Endpoint
Management, and SharePoint, coupled with strong analytical and troubleshooting
capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining endpoint
compliance, ensuring data security, and driving user satisfaction through
proactive IT support and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remote Technical Support
& Troubleshooting - Provide technical support for
remote employees across Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. - Manage and secure endpoints
via Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager, including policy creation,
deployment, and compliance monitoring. - Troubleshoot
hardware/software issues (camera, mic, VPN, device performance, etc.) to
ensure remote productivity. - Support Microsoft 365 suite
(Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) and perform admin-level
operations in the Office 365 Admin Portal. - Assist users with MFA setup,
access control, and password management. - Resolve SharePoint access,
permission, and data sync issues. - Conduct virtual training
sessions on security best practices and software usage.
System Maintenance
- Perform system updates,
patches, and backups regularly. - Monitor network performance
and security, addressing issues proactively. - Maintain IT asset inventory
and coordinate warranty claims/repairs with OEMs (Lenovo, Apple, Dell).
Documentation & Tracking
- Maintain accurate records of
support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. - Track and document IT assets,
repairs, software licenses, and courier dispatches for remote equipment. - Conduct periodic laptop
audits to ensure compliance, performance optimization, and risk
mitigation. - Collaborate with IT team
members to resolve complex technical issues.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent
experience). - Minimum 4 years of experience
in IT support or a related role. - Certified Microsoft 365
Administrator preferred. - Proficient in Windows, macOS,
and Linux environments. - Hands-on experience with
Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager. - Strong troubleshooting and
analytical problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with network
technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware components. - Excellent communication
skills with a customer-centric approach. - Ability to work independently
and collaboratively in a team environment.
