Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system irregularities and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, detailed analysis, and collaboration with different teams to maintain system integrity and support business continuity effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues.
- Document and communicate findings and solutions clearly to stakeholders.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster their development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Experience with monitoring and maintaining enterprise-level business applications.
- Ability to work with multiple software components and understand their interactions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- Capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
