Sales Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and inspire our SmartSale sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing effective sales strategies, setting goals, coaching your team, and ensuring all team members are well-trained and aligned with company goals. You’ll also be a key point of contact for internal departments, vendors, and outsourcing partners, helping them understand program details and processes to ensure smooth collaboration and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of tele-sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies in alignment with company goals as we embark on consumer direct engagement initiatives.
- Monitor team performance through key metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs.
- Train new sales staff, ensuring they understand company products/services, sales processes, and performance expectations.
- Educate internal stakeholders, vendors, and outsourcers on program details, policies, and processes to ensure clarity and alignment across all channels.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure handoffs & cross-department processes are efficient and effective.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Buyer Experience, and Product teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Prepare and present regular sales trends, reports, and pipeline updates to senior leadership.
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and development new team members.
- Foster a positive, goal-oriented team culture.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to train and educate both internal and external parties effectively.
- High level of initiative and drive for results.
- Prior experience in real estate, sales, or a related field is a plus.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience in real estate default sales and/or customer service
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in sales or marketing.
- Experience with auctions or real estate transactions.
- Familiarity with managing relationships with vendors and outsourcing partners.
- Ability to handle the pressure of working with a high volume of the general public.
