Description

Manager – Migrations | Global Delivery Hub

About Vistra

Vistra is a leading provider of fund administration, corporate services, capital market services, and private wealth management. With more than 9,000 professionals across 50+ jurisdictions, we combine local expertise with global scale to help clients navigate complexity and unlock opportunity. Our Global Delivery Hub (GDH) model is central to how we deliver consistent, high-quality services at scale — and the Migrations team sits at the heart of making that transformation happen.

Role Summary

As Manager – Migrations, you will own individual migration projects or assigned workstreams, transitioning work from local markets to our Global Delivery Hubs with precision and care. You will manage the end-to-end migration lifecycle for your projects, keeping stakeholders aligned, risks in check, and delivery on track.

Ensure seamless transitions that are invisible to clients — maintaining or improving service quality throughout every migration.

You will report to the Head of GDH Migrations and play a hands-on role in making our global delivery model a reality — one successful migration at a time. Your work directly protects client relationships and ensures that the people who matter most never feel the change.

What Success Looks Like

  • Migrations delivered on time, within scope, and to agreed quality standards
  • Zero client-facing service degradation during and after migration, evidenced through client satisfaction scores and SLA adherence
  • No material operational disruption to BAU activities at sending or receiving locations during transition periods
  • Stakeholders are informed, engaged, and confident throughout the migration lifecycle
  • Risks and issues are proactively identified, managed, and escalated in a timely manner
  • Clear, accurate, and timely project reporting provided to senior leadership
  • Operating with minimal supervision, anticipating needs before they arise
  • Contributed to measurable improvements in programme delivery timelines

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead individual migration projects or assigned workstreams end-to-end, from initiation through hypercare to steady-state handover
  • Develop and execute detailed migration plans including timelines, resource requirements, risk registers, and mitigation strategies
  • Ensure client-facing teams are fully briefed and equipped to maintain service continuity, with no disruption visible to external clients
  • Coordinate with sending and receiving locations to manage knowledge transfer, documentation, and operational readiness
  • Drive change management activities at project level, supporting smooth adoption at both sending and receiving locations
  • Manage project-level risks, issues, and dependencies with clear ownership and timely escalation to the Senior Manager
  • Produce clear and accurate project status reports for senior leadership, highlighting progress, decisions required, and key risks
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of migration playbooks, templates, and methodologies
  • Coach and support project resources and workstream leads, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative working environment
  • Contribute to post-migration reviews, capturing lessons learned and recommending improvements

Who You'll Work With

  • Head of GDH Migrations — your direct manager and key point of escalation
  • Local operations teams at sending locations undergoing transition
  • GDH Operations teams at receiving locations who will take on the migrated work
  • Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who hold critical process knowledge
  • IT and Systems teams to manage technology readiness and integration requirements
  • HR and Workforce Planning to support resourcing and people transitions

Experience & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in transition/migration management, project management, or operational change delivery in a BPO/ KPO or a Shared Service space
  • Good to have an understanding of at least one back-office domain: Fund Administration, Corporate Services, HR/Payroll, or Accounting
  • Experience in change management and stakeholder communication, including managing resistance and driving adoption
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent is desirable
  • Exposure to PMP, Prince2 or any other project management standards or certification would be an advantage. Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and change management processes
  • Exposure to regulated industries (financial services, corporate services, etc.)
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills, with the confidence to work with senior market stakeholders, functional SMEs, and delivery teams to resolve issues and maintain momentum

Requirements

  • Graduate or above in Commerce, Business Management, IT or any related filed
  • This position would be based out of our Foshan Delivery Hub, China
  • Flexibility to collaborate across time zones in support of regional and global stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally to different audiences.
  • Operating with minimal supervision, anticipating needs before they arise
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in follow-through.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, evolving programme environments
  • Strong business English & Mandarin, both written and verbal.
