Trade Marketing Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the overall trade marketing strategy in line with business and brand objectives

  • Own the annual trade marketing calendar including promotions, seasonal events, category activations, and supplier-led campaigns

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of in-store promotions, price-offs, bundles, and thematic campaigns

  • Ensure strong in-store visibility through effective use of POSM, displays, store zoning, and layouts

  • Collaborate with buying and category teams to co-create joint business plans and promotional strategies

  • Manage supplier-funded marketing initiatives and ensure ROI on trade investments

  • Analyse sales uplift, ROI, promotion effectiveness, and store compliance

  • Tracks spend across campaigns and suppliers

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field

  • 5 years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, or FMCG, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role

  • Strong understanding of supermarket operations, categories, and shopper behaviour

  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset

  • Excellent planning, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment

  • High attention to detail and execution excellence
