The Bulgarian branch of our company was established in 2019 to provide back-office support to the bank and insurance entities within KBC Group in Anti-Money Laundering, Insurance, Daily Banking, Accounts controlling, Business Solutions Competence Centre, Credits and Financing and other business domains.  

As our AML Investigator (KYC), you will be responsible for:

•    Review, validation and approval of Customer AML Documentation;
•    Manual risk investigation for the high-risk profiles - concentrated on the data: identification data, activity, economic link with Belgium, relations with other Natural persons (NP), non-natural persons (NNP) and/or politically prominent person (PPP), ultimate beneficiary owners (UBO), origin of the assets, etc.
•    A standard investigation screens own RSB-signals, Worldcheck, Panama papers, Google, Graydon information, commercial information, information from the office concerning the suspected use of a front man, etc.
•    Based on the investigation, the customer is either accepted or rejected for the purchase of banking products;
•    Identifies and understands the Anti money laundering( AML ) threats in the financial sector and set effective procedures and guidance in place, in order to mitigate potential risks;
•    Ensuring that all SLAs and KPIs are being met;
•    Keep up-to-date with money laundering and terrorist financing behaviors, issues, policies, regulations, criminal convictions.

Key competences that will help you succeed: 
 
•    Excellent  command of English; French and German will be considered as an asset;
•    University degree in Law or Economics;
•    Ability to make decisions on the basis of the analysis;
•    Experience with processing documents and personal data;
•    Experience in the field of banking will be considered as an advantage;
•    High level of attention to details and ability to meet deadlines;
•    Flexible and know how to deal with fluctuating workloads;
•    High self-motivation and proactive approach.
