Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. Collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the applications align with organizational goals is a key part of the daily routine, alongside continuous refinement and adaptation of the software to meet evolving business demands.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for software development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Document development processes and application configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong experience in developing and customizing SAP applications to meet business requirements.
- Ability to optimize code and application performance within the SAP HANA environment.
- Familiarity with debugging and testing tools specific to SAP ABAP development.
- Understanding of database concepts and integration techniques relevant to SAP systems.
- Capability to work with both functional and technical teams to deliver comprehensive software solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
