Description

Key Responsibilities:

Monthly financial closing process

  • Involvement in the monthly closing process will be key.
  • Validation of revenue on activities – projects.
  • Work In Progress (WIP) Management: WIP tracking and analysis per project: Assess financial and operational risks, monitor WIP’s financial impact and ensure proper accounting, and propose corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Analytical tracking, cost allocation to projects, Report validation, Identify and correct inconsistencies.
  • Project profitability analysis: Identify causes of deviations (e.g., cost overruns, delays), propose solutions and action plans to improve margins.

Reporting & Consolidation

  • Prepare reports in Power BI, Excel, and internal tools: clear, visual presentation of financial data.
  • Group and headquarters reporting: Consolidate and submit financial/operational information, to ensure compliance with deadlines and group standards.

Ultimate Goal:

  • Ensure the accuracy and usefulness of financial information, supporting strategic and operational decision-making. Collaborate closely with commercial, operational, and accounting teams to guarantee project profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

  • Education: Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in controlling, bookkeeping, or data analysis (experience in technical sectors such as engineering, consulting, or industry is a plus).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced Excel (pivot tables…).
    • ERP systems and reporting tools (Power BI).
    • Accounting/Finance: Monthly closings, P&L, margins, budgeting.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Analytical: Ability to turn data into actionable insights.
    • Team Player: You will work closely with the local head of controlling (your direct supervisor) and the controlling team in France.
    • Adaptable: Thrives in a transforming environment (e.g., implementation of new financial models).
    • Clear Communicator: Ability to explain financial concepts to non-experts (e.g., commercial teams).
  • Languages:
    • Spanish: Native or bilingual.
    • English: B2-C1 (frecuent meetings with international teams).
