Description

Position : Technical Planner

Location : Miri, Sarawak

Industry : Oil & Gas

Scope of Works:

  • Implement and monitor project planning and scheduling activities which include tracking and analysis of the project schedule performance, recommendations of appropriate actions to address the performance gaps and preparation of management reports to ensure an effective schedule control management.
  • Manage all preparation of weekly and monthly project reports, schedule status reports and presentations materials.
  • Plan, prepare and execute the Work Program Budget yearly cycle to enable smooth execution of planned job and initiatives.
  • Coordinate and interface with other department, contractors, and vendors with regards to schedule & progress update and to register all activities in the eIAP or any other software as per company usage.
  • Identify root cause for performance variance and recommend effective mitigation and intervention plans for effective management decision making to realign the business strategy.
  • Implement and enhance Business Unit KPIs tracking e.g production delivery and forecast, budget utilization, deferment, well healthiness status by ensuring correct and utilizing proper tracking applications such as PowerBI

Requirements:

  • Possess B.Sc. or B. Engineering in relevant field. (Preferably Petroleum Engineering)
  • Computer literate and well-versed with software such as Microsoft Office and Planner tools required by the business e.g FPC, PowerBI
  • Good English proficiency (verbal/writing) and good communication skills
  • Familiar with project development life cycle and project assurance reviews
