Position Summary
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting defective or underperforming processes and systems, and developing, recommending, and implementing preventive actions. The Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our process equipment’s durability and reliability is always being improved.

Responsibilities:
Annual Overhauls & Maintenance Audits:
- Plan, monitor, and participate in annual overhauls for bottling sites.
- Oversee maintenance compliance through audits, ensuring adherence to IRSS standards and regulatory requirements.
Projects & New Installations:
- Collaborate with the projects team on the installation and commissioning of new production lines and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards during installation & commissioning.
FIIX Support & Technical Leadership:
- Provide system support for FIIX, including creating equipment tree structures and uploading user/service manuals for newly established sites
- Generate initial task groups and scheduled maintenance for new installations.
- Act as the FIIX point of contact for all plants, ensuring seamless use and implementation across sites.
- Maintain the technical library and ensure it is up to date with relevant information.
Maintenance & Compliance Oversight:
- Work closely with maintenance teams at all sites, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and leadership.
- Ensure that preventive maintenance (PMs) are effectively implemented and that IRSS policies are followed.
- Create new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for processes that lack documented guidelines, ensuring that all maintenance activities have proper procedural support.
- Conduct annual maintenance audits at all IRSS sites and support any areas that did not meet expectations.
Training & Development:
- Review downtime (DT) reports from all plants to identify gaps in skills or processes.
- Provide relevant training to technicians based on these reviews to improve efficiency and reduce unplanned downtime.
Backup for Maintenance Managers:
- Act as the interim Maintenance Manager during their absence, ensuring the smooth running of maintenance operations.
- Work with site maintenance managers to identify and address gaps in maintenance practices, helping to implement corrective actions.
Site Support & Mentorship:
- Travel to various sites to provide on-site technical support and mentorship to maintenance teams.
- Participate, Monitor and ensure that PMs are relevant to the specific equipment at each plant, making updates where necessary to reflect best practices.
Education/Skills/Experience Required:
- Proven experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing or bottling environment.
- Strong knowledge of FIIX or other CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Technical expertise in equipment installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
